Los Angeles Attractions
This area northeast of downtown LA is home to chic shopping and rich culture. Football fans head here to Pasadena at the beginning of each year for the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl game, while nightlife enthusiasts and shoppers head to the outdoor urban village known as Paseo Colorado or vibrant Old Town Pasadena. Visitors here are within easy reach of the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens, as well as beautiful Mount Hollywood hikes.
Los Angeles is often billed as the “Creative Capital of the World”, due to the fact that one in every six of its residents works in a creative industry. According to the USC Stevens Institute for Innovation, “there are more artists, writers, filmmakers, actors, dancers and musicians living and working in Los Angeles than any other city at any time in the history of civilization.”
